ABOUT US
Solidarity Global was founded in 2022 by Dr. Anokhi Ali Khan and Dr. Hassaan Zaahid, physicians and public health professionals with many years in the field of health care-related research and project execution in the Global South.
Solidarity Global is made up of a like-minded group of public health professionals around the world. These global colleagues conduct evidence-based needs assessments, research and project implementation. All of Solidarity Global's projects are inclusive of the local population with an eye to sustainability and ownership long after the initial project is completed.
Encompassing a revolutionary structure and a new outlook for development, Solidarity Global intends to change the face of public health as we know it.
Assembly, not Hierarchy

We follow the Swiss model of assembly, rather than establishing hierarchies within the organisation. Anyone from any part of the world can apply as long as they agree to the terms of the Solidarity Global model. Every member of the organisation is considered a partner to the institution.

All members will be expected to make applications on behalf of Solidarity Global based on their own country of domicile. Primary investigators who win awards will have the freedom to choose their own teams to write and implement programs keeping in line with the ethos of the institution.
